After a public uproar and a proven close cooperation of the DAP with PAS and PKR. The RoS reaffirmed of no objection for DAP Candidates using the iconic Rocket Symbol with a late official letter sent to DAP Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur at 10.00pm (19th April 2013). Nevertheless on 20th April 2013. The Election Commission has accepted all DAP Candidates using the Rocket Symbol in 13 GE. But it is good to know that all DAP Candidates carried two letter of Authorisation, one by the DAP signed by DAP Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng and another letter by PAS signed by PAS Secretary-General Mustafa Ali (Authorizing the Moon symbol) in Penisular Malaysia and PKR signed by PKR President Wan Azizah.
